Shipping Policy




Lovera’s Handcrafted foods will professionally package your order with environment safe materials. We do not use bubble wrap or packing peanuts. Any orders containing High Care Items, especially during warm weather months (June-October), your package will arrive in a cooler and/or insulated wrapping filled with ice packs to insure quality and freshness. Please use the information below to review our shipping policies.

 High Care Items like cheese and sausage require coolers and ice packs to guarantee quality and safety (our special care item policy eases up as we move into the colder months (November thru February).

Zones were High Care Items CAN be shipped with Standard Shipping.

Zone 1: OK, TX, KS, AR, MO, LA

Zone 2: TN, IN, IL, IA, NE, NM, WY, MT, ND, OH


Zones were High Care Items CANNOT be shipped with Standard Shipping, and require a minimum of 2-Day Shipping:

Zone 3: AL, CA, CO, GA, ID, UT, AZ, NV, ND, MN, WI, MI, VA, WV, NC, SC, FL

Zone 4: NH, VT, MA, ME, NY, RI, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, PA, WA, KY



We only ship to the continental U.S. We do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

During the warmer months (June - October), we do not allow Standard Shipping to be selected for High Care Items. These items must be shipped in a cooler with ice packs and be delivered within 2 business days. This also applies to items that require special care and delivery all year long.

All Caciocavera Cheeses will be taken off the High Care Item list from November - February.

To avoid packages with High Care Items being stuck in transit of the weekends, we may hold and ship your order the following Monday, if your sensitive items cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Saturday with your chosen delivery method. This policy may change based on high volume days or by product availability. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday. It typically takes us one business day to fulfill your order (delivery time starts once your package is picked up at our facility, not when your order is submitted).



We can only give a delivery guarantee based on the ship-to address that you enter in the shopping cart. Our online shopping cart captures information exactly as you enter it. Please review the ship-to address before completing your order.



Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO Box addresses.


We pride ourselves in processing and shipping orders as quickly as possible. Orders are typically processed and shipped within one business day.


Incorrect Addresses, Claims and Exceptions
Please be sure to verify the correct address information has been entered before checking out.

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Contact Customer Service within a reasonable amount of time of order receipt if you wish to file a claim. All packages are monitored closely to ensure speedy delivery. However, LOVERA’S cannot be responsible for damaged or spoiled product due to the following:

  • Incorrect Address - Please verify any apartment, suite, floor numbers with recipient before completing your order.
  • Weather Delay or "Natural Disasters" - Extended transit time may be needed.
  • Shipments Not Opened immediately - If this is a gift to be given at a later date, we encourage you to inspect the contents of the package upon receipt.
  • Out of town or otherwise - Orders sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable at the time of initial delivery attempt. Please notify the recipient of the pending arrival of a perishable delivery.
